This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information.
This page covers the Fretron website only. Data processed inside the Fretron CommerceOS application — including information obtained from a marketplace under a seller's authorization — is governed by the Fretron CommerceOS privacy notice, which takes precedence for anything handled in that application.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as when you fill out a demo request form, download a report, or subscribe to our newsletter:
- Name, work email address, company name, phone number
- Information about your logistics operations you share during demos
- Usage data collected automatically: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to demo requests and provide product information
- To send relevant content, product updates, and marketing communications (with opt-out)
- To improve our website and services
- To analyze website usage via Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and HubSpot

The LinkedIn Insight Tag sets its cookies on LinkedIn's own domains for conversion tracking of LinkedIn ads; LinkedIn's cookie table lists them.
The HubSpot tracking code that sets the HubSpot cookies above also loads two other HubSpot scripts. HubSpot's ads script (from hsadspixel.net) can load the advertising pixels of ad networks connected to our HubSpot account; such a pixel measures visits and enquiries that follow an ad on that network and can add your browser to that network's advertising audiences, under the network's own cookie policy. HubSpot's form-collection script (from hscollectedforms.net) also loads, but the forms on this site that send your details to us are marked so that it does not record them; your details reach our CRM only through the form you submit.
The site also stores, in your own browser, the campaign tags (utm_*), Google Ads click ID, landing page and referring site of your visits: fretron_utm_ft (first-party cookie, 90 days), fretron_utm (local storage, until you clear it) and fretron_utm_lt (session storage, until you close the tab). These values are sent to us only as hidden fields when you submit one of our forms.
Data Sharing
We never sell your personal information, and we never share it for anyone else's marketing. We share website data only with:
- Service providers who help us operate this website and our sales process (HubSpot for CRM, the analytics providers named above), under contract and only to provide that service to us
- Where a binding legal obligation or a competent authority requires it
We do not transfer or disclose your information to data brokers, advertisers, or any other third party, and we do not transfer it as part of a general sale of data.
Data Retention
- Enquiry and demo-request records are kept for as long as needed to respond and, where relevant, to manage the resulting commercial relationship — and for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Website analytics data is kept for the retention period configured in the analytics tools named above.
- We do not keep indefinite archives of personal data. Where Indian tax or company law requires a specific record to be retained, we keep only that record, for only as long as the law requires.
Data Security
Traffic between your browser and this website is encrypted with TLS. Enquiry data is held in our CRM under access controls limited to the Fretron staff who need it. Security issues can be reported to support@fretron.com with SECURITY in the subject line.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, restriction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@fretron.com. We acknowledge requests within two business days and complete verified requests within 30 days, confirming in writing what was done.
